About this listen
A sexy, small town, grumpy sunshine, single dad, sports romance from USA Today Bestselling Author Willow Aster. I fell in love with his little girl first. From the moment nine-year-old Becca Fox and I hugged, it was like we’d known each other forever. Precocious, sweet, and kind, I just knew this little girl was exceptional. Her dad, though? Not so much. Bowie Fox checks every box in the looks department—rugged, intense, and the kind of man who makes you forget how to breathe—but his personality? About as warm as a snowstorm.
That is, until we’re seated together at his best friend's wedding, and then…we dance.
For hours.
Beneath that gruff and hard exterior, I catch glimpses of a man who wants to let loose and enjoy life.
After the wedding, when a hotel mixup leaves me without a room and stranded in Landmark Mountain, Bowie invites me to stay in his room. In his bed. It’s innocent at first. Until it’s not. A sizzling one-night stand for the books. Then I wake up alone and when I see him at breakfast, he is as distant as ever. Bowie lets me know his life revolves around Becca, his teammates, and football. He makes it perfectly clear that there is no room for anyone else—especially the bubbly coach of his daughter. As much as our paths keep crossing, I know the broody linebacker isn’t ever planning on falling for me, but when I find out I am pregnant—I wonder, Can he fall for us?

heart warming.
Oh my goodness I adored this book,it is romance at its best.
I can't even tell you how much I laughed and cried listening to this story by Willow Aster,it was truly remarkable. This is book 4 in The Single Dad Playbook series and I think this might be my favourite so far..which is a difficult feat as each book is fabulous,I have loved listening to all of them.
Bowie is the quiet one a football player and single dad to the sweetest little girl Becca..I fell in love with Becca completely, she has Downs syndrome and is precious and a JOY in this story.
Poppy is new in town and a teacher at Briar Hill,a school for children with disabilities and special needs.Becca wants to go to Briar Hill but Bowie is reluctant to let her go there.
They meet again at a wedding and OPPS they have a one night stand that doesn't end well as Bowie totally ignores what happened and Poppy thinks that He just doesn't like her...So things are awkward between them at first and then they develop a bit of a civil friendship.
The problem is they are attracted to eachother and can't stop thinking about that one night together..they can't really escape one another because Becca goes to Briar Hill after school every day.
It doesn't help that his teammates wives and girfriends have taken Poppy into their circle and made her one of them...Plus Becca LOves Poppy so much and Poppy LOves Becca just as much.
Eventually they both relent to their attraction and try to date but then the unthinkable happens just when they were comfortable with eachother again.
Poppy finds out she got a souvenir of that night at the wedding and it will be due in November...that is right Poppy is pregnant SURPRISE !!!.
How will Bowie cope with it..as he has insecurities after Becca's Mum left him and Becca because she decided she didn't want to be a parent anymore..So Bowie is scared.
Poppy is just as afraid but wants this baby so much..she is worried he will only want her now because she is having his child.
I know I have said it in every review I have done for the books in this series but the friendships in these stories is phenomenal, between the men and the ladies.
The support they give to eachother is beautiful and the text message thread is so much fun between the men and the ladies group. But I have to mention the friendships again, because it is so important to these books and this series.
The narration by Samantha Brentmoor and J.F Harding is outstanding, their performances acting out all the characters in this book,is emotional and funny. They make this story so much better and I am so so glad I listened to the audiobook rather than read it myself.
Then we have a very special performance by Lily D Moore who plays Becca in the book and she is Brilliant and the perfect touch to this audiobook.
It has been such a pleasure to listen to this sweet, funny and emotional story between two people who are made for eachother and a little girl who will steal your heart away.
Oh and one more thing The Dad rap..OMG It is priceless great job J.F Harding.. I LOved it..
In the words of Becca Wicked Love is Delightful !!!

Adorable
Wicked Love is the 4th book in the Single Dad's Playbook Series. It can read entirely fine as a standalone, but characters from previous books definitely have a big presence in the story. All of the members of the found family have a beautiful part in this. This was absolutely adorable, sweet and it just stole my heart. Willow continues to deliver amazing stories, scorching chemistry, beautiful romances and unforgettable characters. Once I started I couldn't stop, I fell in love with Bowie, Poppy & Becca.
Poppy is such a fun character, she is adorably clumsy, and has the most beautiful heart. She was just a true light in this book. Bowie, my poor damaged hot daddy. He went through a lot and I loved how the author approached it with care, how he grew from that trauma and fears. The strength with which he loves his daughter is so beautiful, it just made me fall for him even more. Becca stole the show, she was the absolute sweetest little girl, she just wanted to be loved by a mother and the relationship she developed with Poppy absolutely warmed my heart in the best way. Let's not forget the love story and chemistry between Bowie & Poppy, it was absolutely beautiful and explosive.
Overall, I absolutely loved this installment of the series. The single dads just keep getting better and better. I can't wait for the next book!

Excellent Story & Narration🎧 Moving & Delightful!
Wow, this wonderful small town, grumpy sunshine single dad, sports romance, warms your heart and puts a smile on your face. It isn’t a secret that Willow Aster’s “The Single Dad Playbook” series is one of my favorite series, a group of mostly singles dads who play on the same professional football team, the Colorado Mustangs, and get together to let off steam and share tips, not just in single parenting, but some share other wisdoms, including relationship advice. Each book features a different member of that group and this fourth book is Bowie Fox’s story, a single father of the sweetest nine-year-old of daughter, Becca and the grumpiest of the group. Poppy Keane is fairly new in town and became friends with some of the player’s wives and has met Bowie and Becca, who she adored and bonded with. She takes a liking to Bowie, too, but he wasn’t the friendliest and she figured he wasn’t interested. Bowie built an impenetrable fortress around his heart after his ex broke it, and he doesn’t want to bring anyone into his and Becca’s life because her mother leaving left a big absence in their lives, especially Becca’s and he super protective of her and does not trust easily. Things shift for them at their friend’s wedding and the two wind up sharing a bed, and what starts as platonic ends with anything but. The chemistry between those two is undeniable and smoking hot, but he continues to keep his walls up, and they do the friends only approach instead. Poppy is amazing with Becca, understanding her special needs, and they develop a wonderful relationship, which helps with warming the ice around Bowie’s heart. When Poppy finds out she is pregnant, she doesn’t know how Bowie will handle the news and is not sure how to tell him, but does it in the best way, lol. I loved how everything played out in this book, with the perfect balance of drama, angst, charming and heartwarming moments, witty dialogue and banter, heartfelt emotions and steamy romance. Also loved the moments with the single dad, the shared camaraderie amongst them and hearing them share their playbook entries. Willow Aster, thanks for another fabulous story and emotional rollercoaster ride.
🎧📚🎧 J.F. Harding, Samantha Brentmoor and Lily D. Moore were the perfect cast to bring these characters to life and their portrayal of them was incredible, giving each their own voice and was believable in every role. Harding nailed it as Bowie, super grumpy on the outside, but super protective and warm with Becca and those close to him. Brentmoor was a natural in Poppy’s role, showcasing her personality perfectly, from her insecurities to her caring side, including her bubbly positivity and encouragement with Becca and the kids. Both were fantastic performing the roles of the side and secondary characters too. Lily D. Moore was fabulous in Becca’s role, and her performance added so much to her character and the story. The pacing and tone were just right for the story, and they handled the witty banter and dialogue effortlessly and with ease. You could feel how much heart they put into their performance as they captured all the characters’ emotions and had you feeling them all. These exceptional voice performers deliver an exceptional listen.

Beautiful Story!
This is the third book in The Single Dad Playbook series. I absolutely love this series. Poppy and Bowie's story is beautifully written, touching, funny, and heartwarming. Poppy is beautiful, supportive and kind. Bowie, a grumpy single dad, is handsome, and caring. Bowie's daughter Becca has Down syndrom and she is adorable! Thank you to the author for adding such a beautiful character to her book! The supporting characters are great. I loved seeing the characters from the first book again. I liked the friendship in the story. This is the perfect grumpy/sunshine single dad romance. Savannah Peachwood and JF Harding, with special guest Lilly D. Moore.

Favorite of the series!
This will forever be my favorite single dad series. This one follows Bowie and Poppy and is probably one of my favorites of the series. I love the sweet recap in the beginning of the story that will make catching up with the series a breeze if this is the first one you’re reading. Becca had my whole heart and she stole every scene she was in. Bowie is the ultimate single dad willing to sacrifice so much for his little girl. And, of course, Poppy is the perfect woman for both of them! I absolutely adore all these men and their significant others and love being able to catch up with all the previous families.
The audio was so well done. These two narrators are a dream team when it comes to a dual style narration. Every character was full of personality and they really brought life to the story. Lily D Moore as Becca was a genius addition!

swooning from start to finish
This series has me swooning from start to finish. I knew Bowie was gonna be a chart topper from the start. The way this man loves his daughter with his entire being, you just knew the right woman was going to turn him to mush. Becca being the amazing child she is, she knows exactly who that is. She fell for Poppy the instant they met and proceeded to be the best wingman a guy could ask for. When Poppy’s unsure why Bowie, Becca’s got an entire list of reasons why! Then there’s Poppy’s complete and utter acceptance of Becca from the very first word. There’s no reason to question if she’s got staying power because she was all in for the starter family package. The way all three of these characters love with their entire souls was so unbelievably beautiful. The first time Bowie spoke to the baby in her tummy. I just about swooned. As always, the framily of this group gets me every time. The support, easy acceptance and unwavering loyalty is life goals. I would give anything to be a part of their framily. Willow Aster has again made me fall utterly & completely for a love story of 3 and I ate it up. She writes directly into my soul and these stories take root and stay with me. I can’t wait to return to Silver Hills for the next Single Dad’s Playbook, the last man standing.
The narrators could not have been better chosen to capture the beauty that is this family. JF Harding had me swooning for Bowie. Samantha Brentmoor, there’s a reason she’s one of my fav female narrators. She truly captured the strength of Poppy. And the cherry on top was the truly wonderful performance of Lily D Moore as Becca. I thoroughly enjoyed every appearance she made.

So good!!
Wicked Love is a found family, single dad x program counselor, football, grumpy x sunshine, surprise pregnancy, one night stand, small town romance with Down syndrome rep and it was so good! I was waiting for Bowie's book and I just loved this couple so much! Bowie, Becca, and Poppy were so cute and I loved how they all fit together.
This audio was phenomenal and so well done. Samantha Brentmoor and JF Harding were fantastic and perfection as Poppy and Bowie. I was hooked from the beginning and I listened to this book in one day.

Perfect!
Wicked Love is the fourth book in the Single Dad's Playbook Series, and I absolutely loved it! Bowie, Becca and Poppy captured my heart. This book was such a delightful and charming read! Bowie was closed off to ever finding love. However, Poppy was a ray of sunshine, and he couldn’t help but fall in love with her. I loved the special bond Poppy had with Bowie’s adorable daughter Becca! The Down Syndrome representation was incredible.
The audiobook was phenomenal! Wicked Love was a joy to listen to! It is narrated in dual style by JF Harding and Samantha Brentmoor with special guest Lily D. Moore as Becca. They all do an incredible job at bring this wonderful story to life! Their performances had me smiling from beginning to end!
