About this listen

A teenage girl is found murdered, encased in glass.

Detective Dove Milson is called out to a chilling murder scene by the coast. The murder is a replica of the work of a serial killer known as the Glass Doll Murderer, who entombed his victims in glass to watch them die. He would've be the prime suspect, but he's already dead.

The kicker? Dove's own niece was one of the Glass Doll's original victims. When her other niece goes missing, it looks like the copycat killer plans to repeat history in more ways than one. Will she be the next glass doll?

Time is running out. Dove must race to catch a killer before it’s too late. Until a new lead tears a hole in the case....

Holds attention, great story

Like the way the narrator doesn’t attempt to impersonate the different characters or over dramatise like Johnathan Keeble. Will check out more books from this series.

Twisty plot

Intriguing plot with plenty to keep you guessing. I'll certainly listen to the next in the series. Excellent narration too.

An unexpectedly enjoyable tale

The narrator is excellent in this audible telling of this unusual case involving distasteful subject matter with a strange twist. I found it highly enjoyable.

One of the best written crime fictions I’ve ever read. Gripping storyline with twists and turns for days! Loved it.

I couldn't listen to all of this

I'm sorry but this just didn't grab me. The crime itself is ludicrous and the narrative too pedestrian. And who calls a detective Dove? Each time it was mentioned (too frequently) it made me cringe.
