Great story
i love the nteresting characters and the way they entangle with eachother and comedy moments throughout the book made me laugh out loud.

fabulous
Excellent story line. Interesting characters with different personalities and kept you intrigued throughout. Really enjoyed this over a few days relaxing.

Another great book
I love Jill’s books I have read everyone and can’t wait every year for the next. I loved the story yes they are a little predictable but just easy listening which I like the narrator was good but I do think all the men sound a little angry

Touching stories intertwined
I loved this book and it was a great listen. My only slight issue was the narrator making all the men sound abrupt and a bit angry. The other voices were great

Just Lovely :-)
What a beautiful book to listen to. I have read several of Jill's book but I think this was my favourite. All of the characters were likeable and although the ending a bit predictable it was a heart warming listen.
Thoroughly recommend this to anyone.

Absolutely loved An almost perfect summer. It was a joy to listen to and the characters and story line came to life from the off. One of my Jill Mansell favourites!

Feel good cosy story
Really enjoyed the feeling of having this read to me. Very comforting kind of a book to make you feel safe and cosy. Yes predictable but that’s what I want from a story like this. All the ends tied up nicely. Thanks Jill!
