２０２３年12月、私はステージ４のがん告知を受けた。
告知の瞬間、私は、何を食べたいとか、どこかに行きたいとか、そんなことは微塵も考えなかった。
なんとか自分の命のあるうちにこの本を完成させて世に問いたい。そのことだけを考えた。
その意味で本書は、私の40年にわたる研究者人生の集大成であると同時に、私の遺書でもあるのだ。
